Personal Statement
I’ve been teaching my students in their homes in the Lower Bucks/Eastern Montco PA area since the late eighties. I teach both children and adults, beginner to advanced.
I’m a traditional teacher with a casual style. No yelling. No touching. No saying things to make the student feel bad. I’m thorough and cover the basics of playing the piano, music, music theory, and reading skills.
Again, my style is casual but I have serious intent, and we work hard in the lessons.
I’m the Treasurer (since 1998) and a past co-President (2006-2010) of the Philadelphia Music Teachers Association.
