Personal Statement
I began learning to play the cello when I was eight years old. I went on to graduate from the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Music in cello performance. I was the principal cellist of the Utah Philharmonia and member of the O.C. Tanner Honors String Quartet during my time at the university. I was the recipient of two separate music scholarships and had the opportunity to study with many incredible musicians and guest artists. I am now a member of the Salt Lake Symphony and have maintained an active cello studio for nearly a decade.
