The Schlern International Music Festival, set in the majestic Italian Alps, offers its participants one of the most enriching and exciting educational and creative experiences available. It is a premier classical music festival that is set apart from other summer programs by its unique combination of studying with some of the finest musicians and the intense concert schedule which prepares students for the life of professional musician. All students arrive to a fairy-tale town of Voels am Schlern to live, breath and sleep music for three weeks. The Schlern experience is highly personalized, inspirational and is intended to expand students’ professional confidence. The festival presents about thirty professional and student concerts in various locations of the South Tyrol region. Professional concerts engage outstanding performers of international repute. In addition to lessons and coachings, master classes are given by festival’s artists-in-residence and guest artists.
