Community Music Center (CMC) is a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization founded in 1921 with the mission of making music accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We provide quality, affordable music instruction to 2350 students and concerts to over 11,000 people each year. CMC occupies a historic Victorian in the Mission District with a branch in the Richmond District and extension programs throughout the city.
