Personal Statement
Hi my name is Mark Miller.

I teach students from around the world over traditional phone lines as well as through the internet via Skype and Ichat. If you want to learn all your 3-note chords in the first lesson and play leadsheets/songs after your first lesson, then I'm your piano teacher. I studied with the 2 best jazz pianists/teachers in the country, Tony Caramia at Eastman School of Music and Alan Swain from DePaul Univerity in Chicago.
I have students from England, Canada, Spain , USA as well as Hong Kong , Australia and many other countries. My teaching style is very " concept based". This is not your " childhood " traditional classical lessons. No! I will teach the concepts of chord construction and how chords have a " syntax" of their very own! These concepts you will learn, will allow you to enjoy playing songs life-long.

If you'd like to see the progress of my current students , just go to my website , and click on " Student Showcase". This will link you to my " piano gallery".
