The Summer Music Festival is an institute of a different flavor. It is designed primarily for amateur adult string players who desire to improve their ability to play, thus enhancing their own personal enjoyment. Professional players are welcome to come and take part in the festival for the pleasure of playing with a small amateur orchestra in a beautiful setting. Participants will join with the Kenai Peninsula Orchestra in their summer GALA Concerts under the direction of Mark Robinson. Other events are available to round out the festival week for a spectacular musical vacation.
